60 Point Preventative Inspection

To that end, we have developed our 60 point preventive inspection.  The job of our inspection is to spot problems well before they become significant and more expensive.  The simple truth is prevention is so much better than repairs.  We would much rather see our family of customers drive into the shop with a pre-scheduled appointment, rather than on the back of a tow truck because of a breakdown.

Our inspection looks over your car completely.  We check the protective qualities of your fluids in the various systems in your car.  We check to see if there are any trouble codes stored in your car’s computers too.  We usually top off any fluids that are in need.

While many auto repair shops in Thousand Oaks perform maintenance and look over your car, we’re different than most.  The eagle eyes you have looking over your car are those of the owners of our shop, brothers Jerry and Paul Payton.  They are both very experienced with servicing 1000’s and 1000’s of cars for Conejo Valley families.  Their collective experience equals more than 50 years right here at Shelley’s in Thousand Oaks.  Additionally, we have other technicians that are equally skilled, experienced and certified.
